Equipment Hire

TTS has been leasing equipment for over 22 years. We only lease our own equipment, and directly related third party hardware.

All the leasing is handled directly by TTS. For full details of the equipment we have available, see PRODUCTS.

We have leasing arrangements to suit all types of operation. Periods are totally flexible. Most of our Seismic recorders are permanently installed on survey vessels, on "back-to-back" leasing agreements - you only pay when the gear is on charter. Observer/Field Engineer Hire

We maintain a pool of skilled field engineers, who are fully trained in the operation and maintenance of our equipment. Most of them are also able to operate and work on the whole range of seismic and survey equipment found on todays multi-purpose survey vessels.

All our engineers have worked on many vessels worldwide. They all have full survival/fire fighting certificates and offshore medical certificates

Training

We offer full 'hands-on' training courses on our seismic equipment at either the TTS workshop in Lowestoft or  TAP Instruments premises in Hebden Bridge. These courses can last between 1 and 5 days and are by appointment only. They can be tailored to the exact needs and timescale of the company, and the abilities of the engineers.

Training can also be arranged onboard a company's vessel, but this is subject to vessel location and availability of our instructors. It is generally more expensive than workshop training.
